Award Type Scholarship
Purpose To support the continuing education of railway engineering students at the University of Illinois in the Engineering Department at Urbana-Champaign.
Focus Engineering.
Qualifications Applicants must be engineering students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; must have at least a 2.00 GPA (out of 4.00).
Criteria Selection will be priority given to students who are already married or supporting a family.
Funds $1,500
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards 1.
To Apply Applicants must submit completed AREMA data form together with a cover letter (maximum of 350 words); a resume; two letters of recommendation, one from a faculty member, and another from a present employer, AREMA member, or other responsible person; and a transcript from the schools attended, and courses currently enrolled in.
Deadline December 31.
