There’s no registration required to use CareerOneStop websites—all our tools and information are available free of charge to everyone.

You have the option of creating an account on CareerOneStop to save your assessments, search results, and other pages to come back to later. 

But if you need to complete any of the tasks below, follow the instructions to get on your way.

Post a job opening

Are you an employer looking to post a job opening on CareerOneStop?  Learn how at Post a Job.

Post a resume

Are you a jobseeker wanting to post your resume or apply for jobs?  You can’t post a resume on CareerOneStop, but you can register at your state job bank or search job openings on CareerOneStop (no registration required).

Register for reemployment services

You can contact your local American Job Center to learn about registering or qualifying for reemployment services.

If you received a letter from your state or employer telling you to register at CareerOneStop, please contact your local American Job Center and tell them about your letter.

Register for unemployment benefits

Many states require you to file for unemployment benefits on the web. Some provide toll-free numbers or other ways to obtain assistance in filing.
