What does this tool do?

This tool gives you a list of websites and/or phone numbers for resources in your state that can help with:

  • State and federal disaster assistance resources
  • Unemployment insurance contact information
  • State employment, education, and other resources you may need after a disaster
  • Contact information for community resources

How do I get started?

Click on your state from the drop-down box under "Location" and click "Search" to view a list of resources.

You'll see that the resources are divided into six categories. Click the "+" or "–" next to each category title to see or to hide the list of resources.

What can I do with the results?

Click on the names of any of the resources on your list to visit the website and learn more. Note that the website will open in a new window; to return to your list of state resources, simply close the new window by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner.

To view resources for another state, use the drop-down box at the top of your list of resources.

You can download and save your results as an Excel, Word, RTF or pdf file using the "Download" button at the bottom of your results. You can print or email your results by using the links at the bottom of the page.
