Top Industries
Reports listing the top industries in a geographic area are available. Top industries are based on numbers of people employed. Industries in the report are based on the Four-digit National Industrial Classification System (NAICs) code. Users can enter a ZIP Code or city and state. The top twenty industries for the county (or counties) associated with the geographic area entered are listed first, followed by the top twenty industries for the region(s) or metropolitan area(s) associated with the zip code or city entered. Top industries for each state are also made available in the report.

Industry information comes from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program, 2022.
