        Certified Compliance Technician (CCT)
        Certification Description
The Certified Compliance Technician (CCT) exam is intended to meet employers' annual compliance training requirements and to support individuals with professional compliance responsibilities. Is Maintaining Compliance Important to your Facility? Does your job require you to maintain compliance in your profession? You can use your CCT Certification towards satisfying Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Requirements. In today's healthcare industry, compliance is of the utmost importance. Regardless of what role you have in today's healthcare environment, understanding and educating yourself and your staff about compliance is a necessity. AAHAM began a proactive approach to compliance in 2007. The compliance exam covers such topics as Fraud and Abuse, the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, HIPAA, Administrative Sanctions, RACs, etc. Upon successful completion of the exam, the applicant will become a Certified Compliance Technician (CCT).
