Shorthand Reporters
License Description
Shorthand Reporters must be certified by the Idaho State Certified Shorthand Reporters Board. Applicants for certification must: 1.) Be of good moral character; 2.) Have a high school diploma or GED; 3.) Have passed the Idaho certified shorthand reporter exam, the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) exam, the Registered Merit Reporter (RMR) exam, the Registered Diplomate Reporter (RDR) exam, or the Certified Realtime Reporter (CRR) exam within two years prior to the application date. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
