Operator of Uninspected Towing Vessels - OUTV
License Description To become licensed as a an Operator of Uninspected Towing Vessels (OUTV) or 2nd Class Operator of Uninspected Towing Vessels (OUTV) requires specific experience - Oceans (Domestic Route), Near Coastal or Inland, as well as passing a written exam. Recent training in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is also required. This license is valid for 5 years and may be renewed through various options involving recent work experience, passing an open-book exercise, or completing a refresher training course.
