Professional Soil Classifier
License Description Any person applying for registration must: maintain high personal and professional ethics and standards as described in the code of ethics of the Alabama State Board of Registration for Professional Soil Classifiers, The Alabama Soil & Water Conservation Committee administers the application process; A graduate of an approved four-year college curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree, or its equivalent, in which the applicant has majored in a soils curriculum; and with a specific record of an additional one (1) year or more of experience in soil classification of a grade and character; or, Be a graduate of any approved four-year college curriculum, leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree plus a specific record of an additional two (2) years or more experience in soil classification of a grade and character; Sit for an examination administered by the Board and pass with a minimum score of 65.
