License Description All applicants shall: be required to demonstrate United States citizenship or legal presence; Be of good moral character; Successfully complete all requirements for graduation from an approved registered nursing program; Complete either: a 2-year associate degree program, 2 or 3-year diploma program, or a 4-year baccalaureate program in nursing; Pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN); Those RNs already licensed in another state may apply for Alabama license by endorsement.
