Dietitian
License Description Dietitians plan and conduct food service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease. They provide nutrition care services through nutritional assessment and counseling. They may supervise activities of a department providing quantity food services, counsel individuals or conduct nutritional research. Requirements: 1) Must have a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. College or University with a program in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics or food system management. 2) Must successfully complete pre-professional dietetic experience that is approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. 3) Must pass examination offered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Written examination required. Initial License fee: $110.00, Renewal fee: $50.00, Reciprocity License fee: $135.00, Provisional Licensed Dietitian for 18 months: $150.00
