Water Treatment Operator
License Description Persons operating potable water treatment facilities must be certified. Water treatment operators employed by community or nontransient-noncommunity water systems. Fees: The fee varies with the level of certification. Grade; Exam; Certification; Renewal D1/T1: $50; $70; $70 D2/T2: $65; $80; $80 D3/T3: $100; $120; $120 D4/T4: $130; $140; $140 D5/T5: $155; $140; $140 Examination Frequency: Operator Certification examinations, T1-T4 are Computer Based and are available year-round. T5 Examinations are given twice yearly for (June and December). Applicant must meet exam requirements, pass exam, and then meet certification requirements. Average Time to Process Application: Three months. Renewal Period: Three years.
