Underground Storage Tank Tester
License Description
Those persons who perform integrity tests on underground storage tanks or associated piping. Businesses are not licensed. Fees: Application Fee: $100; Exam Fee: $200; Renewal Fee: $600; Reinstatement Fee: $200 (if license is allowed to expire); Replacement Fee: $10. Examination Frequency: Approximately six times per year. Exam Locations: Sacramento, CA Experience Requirement: Training from the tank and/or pipe testing equipment manufacturer and one year of tank and/or pipe testing experience under a current and unexpired tank tester license. Average Time to Process Application: 30 days or less. Renewal Period: Every 3 years.
