License Description Individuals who make bacterial determinations which are used as a basis for payment or determining values for payment purposes while working for milk processors, producer associations, and commercial laboratories. Fees: Examination Application: $100; License Renewal: $100. Examination Frequency: Upon request. Exam Locations: At applicant's place of business. Experience Requirement: By written, and oral and practical examination, the applicant must show proficiency to make bacterial determinations by using standard recognized procedures. Average Time to Process Application: 60 days. Renewal Period: Biennially. Penalties apply when not renewed within statutory deadlines. Special License Requirements: not available Comments: Persons desiring to obtain such license should study the American Public Health Association's, Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products.
