License Description Effective July 31, 2010 all mortgage loan originators employed by Department licensees under the California Finance Lenders Law or the California Residential Mortgage Lending Act must be license as a mortgage loan originator. MLO Fees: New Application Fee $300.00; Annual Renewal Fee $300.00; Reinstatement Fee (Late Renewal) $100.00. All fees are non-refundable. Authority: California Financial Code, Divisions 9 and 20, commencing with Sections 22000 and 50000, respectively. California Code of Regulations, Title 10, Chapter 3, commencing with Section 1404 and California Code of Regulations, Title 10, Chapter 3, Subchapter 11.5, commencing with Section 1950.003.
