License Description
Individuals engaged in the private practice of educational psychology. Fees: Initial Application/Examination: $500 total Application Fee: $250 Examination Fee: $250 DOJ FINGERPRINT PROCESSING FEE: $32.00 FBI FINGERPRINT PROCESSING FEE: $17.00 Initial License (Max): $200 Re-Examination (written): $200 Examination Frequency: Written - Continuous Administration. Exam Locations: Written - multiple. Experience Requirement: Master's degree, 60 semester hours or 90 quarter units postgraduate work in pupil personnel services; 3 years full-time experience as credentialed school psychologist. Must have at least 1 year of supervised professional experience in an accredited school of psychology program, or under the direction of a licensed psychologist. Average Time to Process Application: Allow 60 days. Renewal Period: Every 2 years. Special License Requirements: Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation; take and pass examination.
