License Description
A rental car agent and/or endorsee is a person authorized to offer or sell those types of insurance as specified in Section 1758.85 of the California Insurance Code, in connection with and incidental to rental agreements, on behalf of any insurer authorized to write those types of insurance in this state. Qualifications: Minimum age: 18 years Please review the following link for additional qualifications: http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0200-industry/0050-renew-license/0200-requirements/rental-car/index.cfm#q Fees: Application: $509 for two-year license term Examination: none Renewal: $509 every two-year license term Experience Requirement: None Average Time to Process Application: two to three weeks Renewal Period: Two-year license term Special License Requirements: Notice of Appointment, Annual certification, Initial Certification; and mandatory training (review the web link noted below for more details).
