License Description The Colorado State Board of Addiction Counselor Examiners regulates Certified and Licensed Addiction Counselors in the State of Colorado. Board activities include review of licensure applications, complaints, and enforcement of disciplinary actions against those found to have violated the Mental Health Practice Act or Board Rules. The Board is made up of seven members, four professionals, and three public, who meet six times per year.
