License Description DESCRIPTION OF OCCUPATION: A Mechanic adjusts, repairs and overhauls automotive vehicles. REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: Experience requirements: At least 2 years full-time hands-on working experience or a combination of education and experience or complete an approved program. EXAMINATIONS: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exam. FEES: From July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, pay $133 ($10 application, $56 license, $67 compliance resolution fund). OTHER: There were 1,122 licenses currently active as of February 24, 2022. ~ revised 10/16
