Electrologist - Instructor
License Description Electrology instructors must be licensed in the State of Idaho. In order to obtain a license, an applicant must: 1) Complete twelve (12) semester college credit hours or equivalent of required instruction; 2) Pass an exam; 3) Hold a current license as a electrologist issued by the board; 4) Have a minimum of two (2) years' experience as a licensed electrologist in a registered establishment and complete a three (3) month teacher's course of instruction at an approved school OR Have a minimum of five (5) years' experience. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
