Specialty Apprentice Plumber
License Description Specialty plumbers must be licensed by the state of Idaho and are only allowed to work in their area of specialization. Specialty licenses are available in the areas of: Appliance, Water Pump, and Mobile Home plumbing. Specialty Apprentice Plumbers must: 1.) Be at least 16 years of age; 2.) Submit an application with required documents and fees; 3.) Be employed by a licensed specialty plumbing contractor; 4.) Work under the constant supervision of a specialty plumbing journeyman. Term: Licenses are valid for three (3) years for specialty apprentices.
