Outfitter
License Description Outfitters and the recreation guides they employ are licensed according to activity. These activities include, but are not limited to, hunting, fishing, rafting and boating, skiing, technical mountaineering/rock climbing, and snowmobiling. In order to operate, all outfitters must be qualified to guide or have in their employment a licensed guide. Outfitter applicants must: 1.) Be at least 18 years of age; 2.) Hold a first aid card and be aware of general emergency procedures; 3.) Have extensive first-hand knowledge of the area and/or waters and/or activities involved; 4.) Guide only those activities for which licensed; 5.) Guide only in the operating area and for those activities the outfitter is licensed. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
