License Description An individual who, for cosmetic or beautifying purposes, performs various services upon the hair such as dressing, cutting, bleaching, curling and chemical restructuring. Performs any practice of epilation or depilation of any person or any practice of beautifying, massaging, cleansing, exfoliating the stratum corneum of the epidermis, or stimulating the skin of the human body, including body treatments, body wraps, or the use of hydrotherapy. Applies makeup or eyelashes to any persons, tints eyebrows and eyelids, lightens hair on the body, and removes superfluous hair from the body by the use of depilatories, waxing, or tweezers. A cosmetologist may also provide manicures, pedicures, and apply artificial nails.
