Health Facility Administrator
License Description To be eligible for licensure as a health services administrator in the state of Indiana, the candidate must: Not have been convicted of a crime that has a direct bearing on the person's ability to practice competently. Have satisfactorily completed the board-prescribed course of instruction and training or have satisfactorily presented evidence to the board of sufficient education, training, or experience in the relevant areas of health facility administration and supervision. Have passed the board-administered examination. The Board may also issue a six-month provisional license to enable a qualified individual to fill a health facility administrator position that has been unexpectedly vacated. In addition, the Board may issue a temporary permit to practice as a health facility administrator to a person who has applied to the board for a license and who already holds a current license as a health facility administrator in another state.
