Respiratory Care Practitioner
License Description In order to obtain certification, the candidate must: Have passed a respiratory care practitioner licensing or certification examination approved by the board. Submit proof of the candidate's graduation from a board-approved school or program of respiratory care, or completion of a United States military training program in respiratory care, or completion of sufficient postsecondary education to be eligible for certification by a board-approved national respiratory care practitioner organization. Not have been convicted of a crime nor have been subject to disciplinary sanctions that would interfere with the ability to carry out professional duties. Pay all application and examination fees. More detailed information, including application packets and test dates, may be obtained directly from the Respiratory Care Committee of the Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
