License Description
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Conducts criminal and civil lawsuits, draws up legal documents, advises clients as to legal rights, and practices other phases of law. May represent clients in court, or before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government. May specialize in a single area of law, such as patent law, corporate law, etc. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Graduation from an accredited School of Law. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS Passing score of 75% on essay portion. Must receive scaled score of 132 to pass the Multistate Bar Examination. Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination must be taken and passed with a scaled score of 75% before sitting for the examination or being admitted without examination. May not represent a client in any manner prior to passing the examination.
