License Description GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Professional activity of helping for remuneration individuals, groups or communities enhance or restore their capacity for social functioning and create societal conditions favorable to this goal. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS You must have received a baccalaureate degree in social work or social welfare program approved by the regulatory agency; or a baccalaureate degree in another field. Two (2) years experience in a social work capacity and completion of courses equivalent to a social work / social welfare program approved by the regulatory agency. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS For application procedures, type examination, passing score, examination fee, and retake procedures, contact the regulatory agency. Examination is given three (3) times a year, Spring, Summer and Fall. GENERAL INFORMATION for LICENSURE or CERTIFICATION You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. There are no residency or health requirements. You must be of good moral character. For work experience requirements, contact the regulatory agency. Licenses must be renewed three (3) years from date of issuance or from last date of renewal. The renewal fee is $45.00.
