CHIROPRACTER
License Description
The Board shall grant a certificate of registration as a chiropractor to any person who submits all of the following: (1) a properly completed application for registration on the form provided by the Board for that purpose; (2) written proof satisfactory to the Board that the applicant is at least 18 years of age and that the applicant is of good moral character; (3) an official transcript, or other written proof satisfactory to the Board, verifying that the applicant has completed at least two years (60 credit hours) of instruction in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree in liberal arts or science at a college or university accredited by the United States Department of Education; (4) an official transcript, or other written proof satisfactory to the Board, verifying that the applicant has graduated from a school or college of Chiropractic accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education, or an equivalent accrediting body as determined by the Board; (5) an official transcript from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) verifying that the applicant has received a passing grade on Parts I, II, III and IV, as well as the special Physiotherapy (supportive procedures and therapies) section, of the national board examination administered by NBCE; and (7) payment of all application, examination, and registration fees established by the Executive Office of Administration and Finance pursuant to M.G.L. c. 7, 3B.
