Lead Abatement Project Designer
License Description To receive a Lead Abatement Project Designer certification, an applicant must first have either a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field, OR have at least 2 years of experience in a related field. An applicant must also have passed the Abatement Supervisor class. After meeting these requirements, a Certified Lead Professional application should be submitted to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services along with the initial fee ($105 to $180). Finally, the state exam must be taken within 6 months of successfully passing the training course.
