A food broker is a business whose principal mode of food sales is buying and selling food but never takes physical possession of the food being bought or sold. They are simply arranging the transaction between the seller and the buyer. 

Food brokers are inspected by the Manufactured Food Program within the Food and Feed Safety Division.
