Permit to Exhibit Captive Wildlife
License Description Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR)

An application for the permit together with the fee is to be sent to the nearest Dept. of Natural Resources, Regional Enforcement Division office.

The local Conservation Officer will inspect the premises.

The permit will be issued only after the applicant demonstrates the ability to comply with standards for care of the animals to be displayed.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and shall demonstrate sufficient knowledge to properly care for the species.

Facilities, supplies of food, and space must all be adequate to protect the animals from injury and to contain the animals as provided in Minn. Rules 6244.2600-.2800.
