License Description Applicant for licensure by examination shall pay required fee, be at least 17 years old, of good moral character, free of contagious or infectious diseases, has studied at least 1000 hours under licensed instructor in a period no less than six months or a two year, 2000 hour apprenticeship, posses required skills, and is sufficient knowledge of health issues concerning barbering.
