Occupational Description


A Race Horse Owner has an interest in the racehorse as an owner, part-owner, or lessee, or is the responsible managing owner of a corporation, syndicate, or partnership which is the legal owner of such a racehorse.

Licensure Requirements


Race Horse Owners must be at least 16 years old, and must be able to show ownership documents to properly identify any horse intended to be raced.  This license permits an Owner to work on the backside, caring only for their horse(s) at a Nebraska race track.

Fees


License Fee - $30.00

Renewal


Renewal is required annually by December 31.  The renewal fee is $30.00.Fingerprints are required every 5 years.
