Respiratory Therapist
License Description The following general requirements apply; contact the Board for more information. Applicants must: 1) Be of good moral character. 2) Be able to adequately speak and write in English. 3) Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) and an Associate (AA) degree. 4) Complete an educational program for respiratory care approved by the National Board for Respiratory Care. 5) Pass the examination as an entry-level or advanced practitioner of respiratory care administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. 6) Be certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: application (non refundable) --$100; active license registration (biennial) --$200; background check - $75.
