Euthanasia Technician
License Description People who work for organizations that euthanize animals using controlled substances must be trained and licensed by the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. The one-day training is scheduled once or twice per year. Participants must pass a written and practical exam to receive a certificate. Those receiving a euthanasia technician certificate are also registered with the Board of Pharmacy. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: examinations/initial licensing--$200; annual license renewal--$100.
