Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinators are responsible for ensuring that the generator is aware of applicable requirements relating to hazardous waste management, including, but not limited to, storage, transportation, and disposal. Full quantity generators (FQG) or any other generators that generate more than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month must have a Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinator on staff at the facility where the hazardous waste is generated.

Certification Requirements:
- Completion of the NH Department of Environmental Services Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification Training
Examination: Written examination required for initial certification
Continuing Education: Annual training required – either a basic class or any advanced training module

- Course fee: $175
- Total annual fee: $300
