Aquatic Antifouling Paint Applicator
License Description An Aquatic Antifouling Paint Applicator commercially applies antifouling paints, which are pesticides, on vessel hulls, boat bottoms, structures and other marine surfaces to inhibit the growth of aquatic organisms. Commercial application of pesticides means any application of a pesticide that is not a private or residential application. (See Environmental Conservation law Article 33, Title 9A for a description of this occupation.) Aquatic Antifouling Paint Applicators are not permitted to use restricted use pesticides and cannot supervise apprentices.
