License Description JOB DESCRIPTION: A water well pump installer installs and adjusts groundwater well pumps to regulate water pressure for private residences and industrial/commercial properties. The installer uses hand and electric tools to cut threads and pipes, adjust pump level, and connect duets and couplings. The installer is often requested for repair work and may be required to order parts and equipment needed for adjustments to improve operations. The pump installer may be self-employed or employed in private industry.
