License Description JOB DESCRIPTION: An asbestos abatement contractor hires and supervises the activities of workers engaged in the removal, encapsulation, or enclosure of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials found in ceilings, walls, floors, and other structures. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring that equipment and workers meet safety standards. Asbestos abatement contractors operate from licensed asbestos abatement companies. OAC 380:50
