License Description JOB DESCRIPTION: A high school sports official officiates competitive athletic events through observation to determine violations of rules or established regulations. High school sports officials obtain licensing for each individual sport. For exam, a sports official may choose to obtain licensing to officiate basketball, baseball, football, or other sporting events.
