CHIROPRACTIC PHYSICIAN
License Description CHIROPRACTIC PHYSICIAN

A chiropractor manipulates the spinal column and adjacent tissues to prevent disease and correct abnormalities of the human body believed to be caused by interference with the nervous system.

REQUIREMENTS:
Be of good moral character, satisfy education and examination requirements.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 60 hours from an accredited college or university and be a graduate from an accredited (CCE) Chiropractic College.

EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:
The national exam parts I, II, III and physiotherapy are required; a written and practical examination are administered at the discretion of the board. (Part IV of the national examination is under consideration as an additional requirement.)

RENEWAL:
Renewal is required every two years
