License Description
CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY ASSISTANT
A chiropractic assistant may offer physical agent modalities and rehabilitation advice and services to the public, specifically and only on orders from a duly licensed physician.
REQUIREMENTS:
Be at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and satisfy the education and examination requirements.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 50 hours of instruction approved by the Board.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of 1200 hours of clinical internship under direct supervision of a chiropractic physician.
EXAMINATION:
Applicants for certification will be required to successfully complete a board-approved examination with a minimum score of seventy-five (75).<>
RENEWAL:
Renewal is require every two years.
