License Description	Landscape architecture is a profession primarily concerned with the design of land areas where human use requires adaptation of the natural environment. Traditionally concerned with public health, safety, and welfare, the landscape architect has, in the last decade, expanded that thinking to include such contemporary problems as accessibility for the handicapped and elderly, preservation of natural resources, alternate energy sources, and energy conservation.
