PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
License Description
Pharmacy technicians are responsible for providing technical services that do not require professional judgment regarding preparing and distributing drugs and work under the direct supervision of and is responsible to a pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians enter prescription data into a data processing system, take a stock bottle from the shelf for a prescription, prepare and package prescription drug orders, reconstitute medications, and compound non-sterile prescription drug orders, among other duties.
