Forklift Operator
License Description Under regulation 1910.178, OSHA requires all forklift operators in Virginia to be trained and evaluated every three years. OSHA mandates that forklift operator training is to consist of a combination of formal training (e.g., classroom, interactive computer training, written material), and practical training, including evaluation (hands-on evaluation by a qualified instructor). Organizations who fail to comply with these regulations will result in heavy fines.
