License Description NEHA R.S. Exam Information All Sanitarians:     If you are interested in taking the test, you should contact me, and I will send you the required letter / application to take it to submit to NEHA.  Taking the test and passing it is a requirement to obtain your "Registered Sanitarian" status in West Virginia.  Without taking it, you can advance to "Sanitarian"status after 2 years of tenure.  You start as a "Sanitarian I".
