ABOVEGROUND TANK SYSTEM INSTALLER
License Description Certification required for a person to install an aboveground tank system that is to hold flammable or combustible liquids. Certification is based on the results of a written exam that measures whether a person has the necessary knowledge for such an installation. Wisconsin Statutes: Storage of flammable, combustible and hazardous liquids (S. 101.09 Section 3) Administrative Rules/Codes: Aboveground tank system installers (Comm 5.84) Except as provided in sub. (7), no person may install an aboveground tank system that is regulated under ch. Comm 10 unless: (a) The person holds a certification issued by the department as a certified aboveground tank system installer; or (b) The person is under the direct supervision of another per-son who holds a certification issued by the department as a certified aboveground tank installer.
