Requirements 1.Must be at least 16 years of age. 2.Must have at least a 10th grade education. 3.Must complete 1,600 hours training in a licensed school. 4.Pass a written and practical examination. School Located in Wyoming There are numerous beauty schools located throughout Wyoming. Contact the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology for a listing of licensed schools. License A license is issued by the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology after meeting the requirements of the state. Examination The examination is administered by the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology.
