Purpose To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education in STEM and health fields.
Focus Engineering; Health sciences; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Medicine; Science; Technology.
Qualifications Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; Active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC Scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; Must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; Grade Level: H.S. Senior, Undergrad, Graduate; Field of Study: Education, Science, Math, Engineering, Technology or a Health Care-related field; Institution: Fully accredited institution or university; Other: Applicant must be a US citizen; Applicant must be performing at a high academic level or an at-risk youth with at least two counselor or teacher recommendations as to how and why they have turned their lives around.
Criteria Selection will be based on committee criteria; Preference given to residents of San Diego and Imperial Counties of CA; if no qualified candidate identified, scholarship must be awarded to a resident of CA.

To Apply Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted WITH the application and not emailed separately; A number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting Officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; Transcripts must cover your entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
