Purpose To support non-traditional Hawaiian students pursuing undergraduate or vocational degrees.
Focus Area and ethnic studies; Engineering; Environmental conservation; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Natural sciences; Science; Technology.
Qualifications Applicant must be a non-traditional student (single parent, sole provider, homeless, disabled, ward of the court) pursuing undergraduate or vocational education at an accredited institution in the United States; must be a resident of the state of Hawaii; must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate students and 2.0 for vocational students; must demonstrate financial need; may attend part-time or full-time; must be pursuing a degree in Hawaiian studies, STEM fields, environment, or natural sciences.
Criteria Preference for non-Oahu residents.
Duration Annual.
