Purpose To support social work students with a focus on macro social work and with an interest in a career in public policy.

Qualifications Applicant must be a financial member of NABSW during the year of application; must be a social work major at an accredited college or university; must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours in an undergraduate or graduate program; must demonstrate community service and express interest in social work in the Black community; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

To Apply Applicant must complete the application form (available online), along with a 500-word essay, two letters of recommendation, and academic transcripts. Materials must be submitted via email.
